Learning self-love - The most important relationship in your life...

Hello dear heroes,

At the beginning of the year, I would like to share an important topic. Namely, about the important relationship with yourself. Many people care for it more or less than others. But how important is it and what impact can it have on your life?

How you love yourself is how you are loved by others.

Self-love is always on the table, but it is not tangible for many because societal values have the upper hand in their minds. But how can this be changed? My siblings Roy and Lazzy also asked me about their adventure around this topic. How do you know that society's values don't suit you? Is it okay to do what you feel? I know society doesn't think it's so good, but it makes me happy!

Of course, self-love is not an argument for EVERYTHING. Violence, stealing etc are things that hurt other people. It's more about doing things that make you happy yourself and not because society thinks it's good. Many say to you: learn to love yourself! But many ask themselves, how does that work? Does it mean accepting yourself with all your quirks and faults? Not only on the outside, but also on the inside?

You often notice that other people treat you badly. What kind of aura do you show them that they take the right to behave like that towards you? What can you change?

Often, your own attitude towards yourself already helps. Self-confident people radiate something completely different and this is what makes them so attractive and pretty at the same time.

A good example for me is the film "I feel pretty" with Amy Schumer. The main character of the film feels too fat and has no self-confidence. Through an accident in the gym, she suddenly sees herself for a certain time as she always wanted to look or has her ideal desired figure. Because of this self-confidence, she puts on clothes that emphasise her figure. She does things that she would never have done before. Her self-confidence is very attractive to those around her. But in reality, her body has not changed, only her inner attitude. The change in inner attitude has completely changed her life and opened many doors for her.

You have it in your own hands how your environment perceives you

As already described in the film, your own attitude towards yourself is often the key. Trust yourself and believe in YOU! More self-confidence brings out other character traits. It helps you to emphasise your strengths and to pursue your goals. No one else can help you with how others see you, only YOU. The solution word is simply: SELF-LOVE.

You have self-version in your own hands

Of course, character traits are to be questioned if they harm you and other people. This is a fine line and you don't know what to really do. Often it can sound arrogant, conceited or overbearing. No one is perfect, but trying to become the best version of yourself is the goal. It's good to question yourself every now and then, but not to give up on yourself and ignore your inner voice.

Sometimes a change of perspective also helps: Imagine you are talking about another person. How would you describe them (i.e. yourself)?

Be the person who is brave enough to let go of everything that doesn't make you happy.

Life is far too short to make life unnecessarily difficult for yourself. Instead, enjoy it and be grateful for what you have. Put yourself in your body or your inner self. You are with someone 24/7 who only nags at you and is in a bad mood. Give your better half (your inner self) LOVE too and listen to her. This way you know what she needs and what will ultimately make you both happy. Detach yourself from things or people that only pull you down and don't let you shine.

Beautiful self-love quotes for everyday life:

  • Spend some time with yourself every day.

  • It's not your job to like me, it's mine.

  • The best project you will ever work on is you!

  • You are your most valuable project.

  • If you want to find yourself, don't ask others for directions.

  • Fall in love with the process of becoming the very best version of yourself.

  • When things change inside you, things change around you.

  • We are most beautiful when we don't want to please anyone.

  • Be the energy you want in your life.

  • Life is too short to spend it at war with yourself.

  • Happy people are the most beautiful people.

  • How you love yourself is how you teach others to love you.

How important is self-love to you?

Yours
